Welcome! My name is Jessica Owens and I will be teaching 5th grade EIP Reading and Math this year. I have been teaching for 15 years with 13 of those years being in Houston County. I have a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education from Georgia Southern University as well as a Master's degree in Early Childhood Education from Georgia Southwestern University. I also have a Specialist's degree from Georgia Southern University in Early Childhood Education. I also have a Gifted, Reading, Coaching, and Mentoring Endorsement. I live on a little farm with my husband, three chilren, and several animals including fainting goats! I am very excited to take on a new year at BES!
