Hello! My name is Dena Harris and I am a 3rd grade teacher at Bonaire Elementary School.  This is my 17th year teaching. I have taught pre-k, 2nd grade, third grade, and fourth grade. I have lived in middle Georgia for my entire life, and I graduated from Houston County High School in 1999.  I earned my Bachelor's degree from Macon State College in Early Childhood Education.  I also have a Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from The University of Texas Arlington. I have been married to my amazing husband Henry for twenty one years. We have two wonderful daughters; Deja is a 2022 graduate of VHS and Laila is a 9th grader at VHS. In my spare time I enjoy reading, crafting and watching movies. I am so excited about this school year. It is going to be epic!
