My name is Amy Thorn, and I am an excited to be an EIP Reading and Math teacher this year. This is my 30th year of teaching, all here at BES! I am a proud graduate of the Houston County School System, attending Parkwood Elementary, Northside Junior High, and graduating from Northside High. I have a BBA degree in Marketing from Georgia Southern University, earned certification in Early Childhood Education, and then received a Master of Science in Early Childhood Education from Fort Valley State University. I also have a Coaching Endorsement. When I am not teaching, I love spending time with my husband and son, as well as spoiling our cats. I look forward to another wonderful year here at BES!
