Hello Parents and Students,

My name is Mrs. Allen. I am from a small town called Butler, Ga but I live in Kathleen, Ga. I am a military wife and I have two adorable kids, Jayla and Wesley, Jr. I also have a Yorkie name Brock. This is my 12th year of teaching. I graduated from Middle Georgia State University with a Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education and Special Education. I earned a Master of Curriculum and Instruction from Saint Xavier University. I earned my Educational Specialist degree in Special Education from Georgia College and State University. 

Teaching is my passion and I am excited about this school year! I have taught Kindergarten through 5th grade in both the general education and special education settings. I have also taught all content areas during my career. One of my favorite poet, Maya Angelou quoted, "People will forget what you said. People will forget what you did, but they will never forget how you made them feel." My goal is to make sure every student know that I care. It brings me joy when students are learning! 

In my spare time, I enjoy doing hair, shopping, and spending time with my family!
